A valid Tallinn University library card is required in order to request an Interlibrary Loan.
Materials that are not available at Tallinn University Library can be ordered via the library's interlibrary loan service.
Check in the library catalog ESTER or the A-to-Z e-journals catalogue to make sure the material you need is not available at our library.

Interlibrary loans take time, so make sure to place your requests well in advance of when you need the materials. Unfortunately, we can never guarantee that you will receive the requested material within a certain timeframe, because it may be difficult to locate, or checked out at several libraries. Cancellation is not possible.
Estimated timeframes are:
Within Estonia: up to one week
Within European countries: 1-4 weeks
Outside European countries: 2-4 months
The loan period and terms of use for an interlibrary loan are always determined by the lending library. Most materials have a loan period of two to three weeks. It is not possible to renew the loan period for an interlibrary loan. Some interlibrary loan materials are not available for home use, and must be read at the library.
